Today is my happy 36th anniversary. As usual I celebrate by doing a project that I love hahahha, days in advance. I have been happily working making a clown doll, pattern by Elinor Peace Baily. His name is Percy. Here is Percy, body done, all wired and face painted. Oh! he is naked hahahahahah. Everything on Percy is hand sewed or machine sewed or hand painted. All fabric clothing except for his coat is quilter's designer fabric.
His coat is made of hand painted fabric and so are the pockets and patches, they are emblemished with dimentional paint by Deco Art's fabric line. Here is a close-up of the patches and the coat.
Here is Percy with his hat done with fused on appliqued flowers and leaves and emblemished with Deco Art fabric writers.
Here is a close-up of Percy's face and hair. His face is hand painted and his hair is all hand painted fabric strips. Percy's cheecks are emblemished with "fashion beadz" also by Deco Art. All you do is smear them on, no sewing involved, great stuff and so pretty.
Here he is full size all 43 or 44 inches of him.
This is his permanent place for the moment...he is chatting up a storm with the bear.....
