I got some more blocks done. Here are four blocks and you can really see the pineapples now. I managed to do two blocks today while listening to Andre Reiu's beautiful music...Many time I wanted to get up and dance.... here you can see the motion created by the light and dark fabrics.

Another view.. you can see a secondery pattern forming where the pineapples meet...

Another view... you see fat light pineapples and skinng dark ones and the square in the middle...

And stewed apples, pears and oranges...

And while that was cooking I started on my other king size christmas quilt. This one will be the traditional pineapple. Here is the first block. I'm pleased with it....

I have finished the waste basket to go in the wild bath room. I have decided that the towel on the floor was a bit much hahhahah...so I decided the waste basket will have to do. I will get a more subdued rug later. I wanted the a bit abstract. Just a bit and kinda in space? Ok here is side one. The apple seems to be in space...

Here is side two. Ladders in space lol. Well you can find a number of things in space right?

Side 3. Leaves in space lol. I don't like them. I wanted more abstract. But I couldn't figure out to mess them up hahahha.....

Side 4. Now this has got to be one of my nightmares. I have no idea what it is. It's just in space.

I have finished the christmas quilt and it's on my bed thank God!! It's was really a joyful work I must say. I keep going into the bedroom to look at it. All the fabric are christmas. I can't believe I had all those fabrics and still more to make two more quilts and I hope to do those before christmas. OH OH, looks like I'm going to have to put that skirt on the bed soon lol..

Here is a close up....

Another one... This quilt is called, " Shenandoah Log Cabin"

And!! I've also finished the bathroom ..all done for christmas... here you can see the floor and the glazed base board in contrast to the teal faux finished wall.

Another view... here you can see the glazed door and the towels and wall and the floor....

Another view.... I couldn't find a rug I liked so this beach towel folded in half is wild enough for me. How is it for you? lol. See bathroom can be fun to decorate. We spend a lot of time in there so we might as well be astheticzised (is that a word?)

Here is a better picture of my Cinco di Mayo..

Ahhh I was painting in my backyard today. I took the door off the bathroom and painted it outside on two horses. It's easier that way. I then painted the baseboards and soon I will have the finished pics up. I have finished my Christmas quilt except for the binding. I have been working real hard on both of these projects and will have pics up of both soon. Meanwhile I will entertain you with some more stuff around the house. Attic windows.

This is Ocean Waves. All done with logs, the log cabin style.

Sunbonnet Sue. This was a round robin at my guild. The one I used to belong to.

Ahhhh..Bugs in a jar. I'm sure everyone has done one of these. This is one of my favorite quilts for sure.

A close-up of a bug..

I thought I lost the painting mood. No chance. Here is a 72 by 50 I think. This is a large unprimed canvas. I like the paint to soak in real good when I paint and after, I'll stretch it on stretcher bars and frame. This is California burning...

Here is a close-up of the ground area.... This is laying on my studio floor on top of a drop cloth.

So I wasn't satisfied with that. I did one outside, which one is going to stay there overnight covered with plasic. This one I just painted with colors....

Here is a close-up of an area...

Another area....

Now here is a fabric I painted the other day....look closely and you will see many women's faces in it...also there is one man....strange indeed... oh, I just pinned it on top of my quilt squares..the one I'm working on.

I circled some of the images that I saw. The one to the right looks like a man with a beard just walking in...I will take a better pic outside tomorrow and replace this one...it's not too clear. I'v tried to up load this pic three times and it won't do it. Maybe it's because I circled some areas? who knows why it won't do it...ok here goes again. One more time. If you don't see it, then it didn't do it again???
oh good it did it this time...

Finally! I got the bathroom floor going toward the Monet look that I wanted. I worked on it off and on for the past two days, adding this and adding that. I can't wait to finish it. I'm thinking of hanging some of the painted fabric for wall paper in there...hmmm

Here is another view...

I'm just going to start to paint fabric now so you won't see them until tomorrow. I can still entertain you with stuff around the house though lol. Here is a row of wooden block houses painted by a dear friend of mine.

This is the other side of the view.. and of course through the kitchen is my studio..just piled up with stuff to do lol.

Here is a christmas wooden wreath cut out that I painted some years ago. Actually, I never take it down. Am I bad or what?
