Ok this is the way I finished it. What a lot of work. I have no clue how I will quilt it since it's painted fabric. It has a lot of texture already. I think this will be the beginning of art quilts..I do like the way one can just so anything and it works.

I'll bet if you look at that ruler, you will see a nick or gouge in the edge. The cutter was rolling along, hit the nick and rode it up to your hand. (happened to me).

If this is the case, get rid of the ruler. You cannot make this better.

You know Debra, and that is a new ruler too. I have't checked it but I will tomorrow or when I take it down. I hope not. I'll be so put out if it is...
